About Pack 120
Pack 120 was originally chartered with the Keezletown Ruritans in Keezletown, Virginia, for many years we were hosted by Vision of Hope UMC on Port Republic Road in Rockingham, Virginia. As of 2024, we are delighted to be hosted by Massanutten Presbyterian Church. We welcome any Scout, but we currently draw primarily from Cub Run and Peak View Elementary Schools in Rockingham County, with several scouts also coming from elementary schools in Harrisonburg.
As one of the largest and most active Cub Scout Packs in the Mpuntain Valley District of the Virginia Headwaters Council, our vibrant group of kids and involved parents plan numerous events throughout the year, service-oriented projects, along with fun and educational trips within the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding areas.
We typically hold our Pack meetings on the second or third Monday of each month at 6:00 pm at Massanutten Presbyterian Church (50 Indian Trail Rd, Penn Laird, VA 22846). Our Scouts enjoy the outdoors, so we hold as many outdoor activities as we can.
One of the primary goals of Pack 120 is to ensure the Scouts have a positive Scouting experience, receive every opportunity to participate in events, and enjoy the journey. Scouting is what the Scouts and families make of the program, and we continue to have a great group of Scouts and parents making this happen every year.
